Dear Scott,

Thank you for everything you have done for me, whether it was helping me become a better baseball player or just giving me advice in general. I started coming to your place when I was 8 years old and don’t regret a day of it because it helped me become the player and person that I am today. You have been a great help to me growing up and I appreciate every bit of it. You have influenced my life and career a great amount and it would have been hard making it to where I am without your help. I am very thankful that you have shared all different types of experience with me to help guide my career in the right path. I also thank you for letting me come to each one of your workout places where ever they might have been as well as meeting me at different locations just to give me lessons. I am very glad that I was introduced to you and couldn’t see myself where I am today without that happening. Once again thank you for everything you have done for me and I wish you all the luck with whatever life may bring in the future.

Sincerely,

Brad Dydalewicz,

Boom is a small organization ... who genuinely cares about the baseball development and progression of every player who wears their jersey. Coach Daniel Minor, under Scott's direction, has done an exceptional job leading the High School program in his first year, and great things will follow. If you are looking for an organization where the coaches actually train, coach and develop, even in the High School age group, take a look at Boom. These guys do what they say, and they don't oversell or overcommit. If you are looking for a family feel in the craziness that sometimes/oftentimes is Select baseball, give Boom strong consideration. Coach Daniel Minor is an exceptional teacher - particularly with the mechanics and mental side of pitching (he has legit credibility as a Pitcher). At Boom Baseball, it's not just about the money and showcasing the phenoms - if your player is willing to put in the work with a great attitude, Boom will make them better.

Coach,
Thank you for bringing Coy into the Boom organization. While we have only played two tournaments with this group, the atmosphere in the stands and the positive direction the players are getting is tremendous. I appreciate you giving the new players the same chances as the established ones on the team. As far as baseball instruction goes, Coy is in your hands. If you ever need help enforcing behavior, discipline or work ethic with Coy, let us know and we can help. I look forward to seeing his growth as a player and a young man this summer.

Best,
Mamie Fullmer

Coach Leon,

From the age of 9 till I could remember Scott Leon has been there for me both on and off the field. He believed in me when others doubted my potential. Not only teaching me how to become the best pitcher I can but a better man. We spent hour after hour working and trying to perfect the skills necessary to succeed at a higher level of baseball. I can sit here now and look back at my life and give him all the credit in the world. Without Scott Leon by my side I would be totally lost. I am forever grateful for the amount of help and guidance he has given me in all of my affairs. Thank you for everything Scott Leon.

Dear Scott

Daniel started pitching lessons with Scott at age 11. Scott taught Daniel weekly to “pitch” not just throw.  Scott taught both the physical and mental approach to the game which gave him the “intangible” aspects that college coaches are looking for. The weekly lessons for years and playing for Scott and the Ridgebacks helped Daniel attain the highest level of play at High School and now at the College level.  Coaches at the college level have commented that Daniel’s mechanics are sound and he has never had arm problems.  We thank Scott and Erin for their help. The time and money spent over the years is “priceless”.  Daniel was named in the top 10 pitchers in the country for Division I baseball in 2012 and is now one of the top pitching prospects in the Houston Astros organization.

Scott,

I didn’t formally thank you for all the help you have given me throughout the years, and without your help and encouragement there is no way I could have gotten to where I am today.

Coach Scott,

I started seeing Coach Scott when I was about 12 years old. I had never been much of a pitcher but Coach Scott changed that very quickly. From pitching lessons to just going for a drive to talk about life Scott was always there for me, and I would not be where I am now without him.  I never left from a lesson without feeling accomplished even if it was a quick 30 minutes just to set some things straight.  I always learned something that made me a better player.  Scott taught me excellent mechanics and made me into a pitcher.  Scott did everything he could to work with me on the mechanical adjustments I would have to make and even stayed with me extra hours to perfect them.  Not only did Scott teach me to be a college level pitcher he was also the one who contacted the college that I am currently playing with and recommended me to one of their camps which is where I was noticed.  Scott is the best coach, role model, and friend I could ask for and I am extremely grateful to him and Erin for all of the help and attention they have devoted to me.

Sincerely,

Scott -

Thanks for taking the time to have my student Brent Schaekel interview you for an assignment in his Introduction to Business class.  I think our students learned a lot from being able to interact with professionals in this manner.  Your words and thoughts helped us in our mission of developing Christian leaders.
