Scott Leon

Scott Leon, owner and developer of Positive Baseball Development, started his collegiate baseball years when he was signed to play Junior College Baseball at Allen County Community College in Iola, KS. He was then recruited to play for the University of Texas Longhorns in 1996 where he stayed for only one year before being drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays and playing in their organization for the next 3 years.  In that time, Leon competed and played with all skill sets and talent levels. He learned through playing himself, as well as observing others, what it takes to play at each of these levels.  That valuable experience helped him acquire a knack for projecting players onto the next level, by studying the players growth and development, both physically and mentally.

Scott has developed and helped many students succeed in high school, as well as beyond.  He has a unique ability to project a player to a higher level of play by navigating them to the next level. He has instructed several players that went and played at every level in college from JC up to Big Time D-1 programs.  He presently has 4 players in the minor leagues, but has had a total of 7 play professionally at some point   These are players that Leon has specifically worked with and spent years developing both in those physical and mental aspects..
